Nadine Goguen

Since 2005, Nadine Goguen has worked in the AWK Library Region in Moncton, first as the Public Services Librarian and now as Assistant Regional Director. She is a Dalhousie graduate from the MLIS program (2006). She also studied at UNB and Laval in Women Studies and holds a B.A. in Psychology and French Studies (2001) and a Master’s degree in French Literature (2014), both of the Université de Moncton. Her MA thesis was on George Sand and the wind. She is presently enrolled in the French Studies Doctorate’s program at Université de Moncton.

Nadine has worked in all types of libraries: from a student clerk to a manager in public libraries, a reference assistant-librarian in an academic library and a volunteer in school libraries. Her professional activities include presentations at APLA (Charlottetown 2008), at WILU (Wolfville 2006), at ASTED (Québec City 2006), Dalhousie University and ACFAS (Québec City 2013). She is a member of APLA, the Society of Dix-neuvièmistes and of the Association of Professional Librarians of NB. She was on the APLA executive as NB VP in 2007-8.
